New Balance Extends Partnership With Tennis Player Coco Gauff
Boston-based New Balance announced the extension of its partnership with tennis player Coco Gauff. Ranked as the number 4 player in singles, and the number 2 doubles in the world, Gauff’s partnership with New Balance started 4 years ago when she was 14 years old.
Now 18, Gauff shared her thoughts about being sponsored by New Balance and says, “I couldn’t ask for a more committed team that is forward-thinking in their approach and match my love for the game with their passion for quality and creativity. New Balance has supported me since my junior tennis years and has been by my side for the biggest moments of my career. The team feels like family, so it was an easy decision to extend with a team that has embraced me as a person and genuinely works to help bring out my best.”
To commemorate the long-term partnership, New Balance is launching a new colorway, of Gauff’s Coco CG1 signature tennis shoe. Titled “All in the Family, the sneakers will be available on Newbalance.com and at select global retailers on Nov. 3 for $170.
